Both options are available on every service. Here's what the difference actually means for your car.
Standard film
Standard dyed or carbon film reduces light, glare, and UV. A solid choice for most vehicles and most budgets. Holds up well with proper care, backed by a lifetime warranty.
Ceramic film
Ceramic film uses nano-ceramic particles to block infrared heat at the source, the main reason your car gets hot inside. You get significantly better temperature control even at a lighter shade like 35% or 50%.

We know Illinois tint law and won't install anything that puts you at risk of a ticket. Every install is legal on the vehicle it's done on.
Sedan / Coupe / Hatchback
Must allow at least 35% of light through. The most common restriction people ask about.
Rear side windows must also be 35% VLT or lighter — same limit as the front.
Back windshield is also limited to 35% VLT for sedans and coupes.
SUV / Van / Pickup Truck
Front side windows must allow at least 50% of light through on SUVs, vans, and trucks.
No restriction. Any shade is legal on rear side windows for SUVs, vans, and trucks.
No restriction. Any darkness is legal on the rear windshield for SUVs, vans, and trucks.
